Richard Gill is EMEA Head of BNY Mellon Markets, responsible for leading regional business strategy and the overall management of Markets within EMEA.
Richard joined the Bank of New York in 1995 as Chief Dealer of the Spot FX Trading team, following successful trading roles at Barclays Bank and the First National Bank of Chicago. Prior to his current role, Richard served as Global Co-Head of FX Trading and Senior Global Markets Officer in Europe at BNY Mellon.
Richard is a member of the EMEA Chairman’s Forum, the Corporate and EMEA Operating Committees, the London Branch Management Committee, the FX Management Team and Markets Management Team. He also sits on the Board of Directors of CAML, BNY Mellon's Capital Markets business in EMEA. Richard has been a member of the Bank of England Foreign Exchange Joint Standing Committee since 2007.
