Our people are helping to develop the technology leaders of tomorrow through programs like the Technology Leadership Program (TLP), a 12-month program that exposes recent college graduates to innovative areas in technology at BNY Mellon.
The TLP class receives nine weeks of training during which they are expected to become familiar with BNY Mellon's primary/proprietary technologies such as NEXEN, BXP, Digital Pulse and others. Program participants design, develop and implement complex business solutions on existing and emerging technology platforms by rotating among multiple job functions and divisions within our company. Various teams within Client Technology Solution (CTS), our technology division, can request TLP participants to join highly visible projects. Additionally, the program exposes the class to knowledgeable mentors through a network of TLP alumni and senior management.
Launched in 2015, the GENIUS Initiative is a newly developed gamified engagement model designed to help our TLP and Summer Associate Program (SAP) participants adjust to the BNY Mellon culture. Activities include interaction among executives, managers, teams and new hires across all lines of business. Alumni of these programs have gone on to become strong technology leaders in various divisions within CTS.
