Greg Stewart is responsible for overseeing new business development activity in the United States, including solutions for traditional plan sponsors (pensions, foundations, endowments etc.), financial institutions and the Consultant Relations team. He brings extensive knowledge to this role given his previous roles within the organization including the Head of Client Solutions and Strategy where he worked with institutional investors in the Americas region to identify solutions to their diverse needs using the enterprise capabilities of BNY Mellon. In this capacity Greg focused on helping clients mitigate the variety of risks they face in the alternative investment arena including Private Equity and Hedge Fund vehicles and deliver operational efficiencies.
Prior to this, Greg spent a number of years in our Product Management organization, with responsibilities for the Performance & Risk Analytics (P&RA) product suite in the Americas. He also held similar positions within Mellon Analytical Solutions and was a member of the Senior Management Group helping shape the strategic direction of Mellon’s analytics business. Greg has also held positions in marketing, operations and relationship management in the United Kingdom.
Greg holds a B.Soc.Sc (1st Class Honors) in Economics from the University of Birmingham in the UK and holds the designation of Associate of the UK Society of Investment Professionals (ASIP). He is a regular member of the CFA Institute and also a member of the CFA Society of the UK. Greg is also a member of BNY Mellon’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Social Finance Business Council - a group of senior leaders helping to shape and advance the company's CSR agenda and has published a white paper on Environmental, Social and Governance from the Asset Owners perspective. Mr. Stewart has also spoken on a broad range of investment topics in both Europe and the US with a focus on performance measurement and analytics.
