Allen Cohen is the global head of Accounting and Administration for BNY Mellon’s Asset Servicing business, which includes ownership of all aspects of BNY Mellon’s accounting platforms. In this capacity, Allen is responsible for driving strategy, execution and profitability of the business, while advancing the efforts to digitize and automate the platforms. Additionally, Allen directs thought leadership efforts in partnership with clients to ensure rapid ongoing innovation in our capabilities.
Previously, Allen was the Digital Officer & Head of Product Prioritization for Asset Servicing at BNY Mellon. He led the innovation and execution of the digital strategy across Asset Servicing’s client segments and regions. This included integrating new technologies, strategic partnerships and product development. Additionally, Allen oversaw Asset Servicing’s technology investment strategy and capital planning to ensure investments were prioritized in a way that best served our clients.
Allen is a 30-year veteran in the financial services industry and a sought-after subject matter expert. He rejoined BNY Mellon in 2017 after four years with JP Morgan Chase as Chief Business Technologist within the Custody and Fund Services business.
Before his move to JP Morgan Chase, Allen spent the prior 13 years at BNY Mellon, most recently as Chief Information Officer for BNY Mellon Asset Management and International Technology.
Allen holds a dual degree in Computer Science and Mathematical Economics from Oswego University.
