Debralee Nelson brings 35 years of experience to her new role serving ultra high net-worth clients
NEW YORK, May 15, 2013 — The wealth management business of BNY Mellon, the global leader in investment management and investment services, has appointed Debralee Nelson as Senior Director to serve ultra high-net-worth wealth management clients in the New York region. Nelson joined BNY Mellon Wealth Management in April and reports to Managing Director Katia Friend.
Prior to joining BNY Mellon, Nelson was a managing director and senior banker at JP Morgan Chase from 2009 to 2013 where she was responsible for relationship management in its private bank. Prior to joining JP Morgan, she served as managing director and senior business development officer with Bessemer and U.S. Trust.
Nelson earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska, an MBA from George Washington University, and holds the Certified Financial Planner™ designation. She serves on the board of Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club as Treasurer and is also a member of the organization’s executive and investment committees.
