BNY Mellon receives the 2015 Golden Peacock National Quality Award in India

Vikas Kohli, BNY Mellon’s director of quality and re-engineering, and Dinesh Deo, managing director and chief executive officer of BNY Mellon’s Global Delivery Center in Pune and Chennai, received the 2015 Golden Peacock Award at the 25th World Congress on Leadership for Business Excellence & Innovation.


BNY Mellon has been awarded the Golden Peacock National Quality Award (GPA) for 2015 for its Global Delivery Centers (GDC) in Pune and Chennai. With over 450 applicants in 2015, this prestigious award recognizes excellence in quality across public, private, non-profit, government, business, manufacturing and service sectors.

Dinesh Deo, managing director and chief executive officer of BNY Mellon’s GDC in Pune and Chennai, and Vikas Kohli, BNY Mellon's director of quality and re-engineering, accepted the award on April 20 during the 25th World Congress on Leadership for Business Excellence & Innovation in Dubai, U.A.E., in the presence of distinguished business leaders, jurists, academics, environmentalists, economists, legislators and policy makers. In 2014, BNY Mellon received a special commendation for the annual Golden Peacock Awards.

Established in 1991 by the Institute of Directors, a non-profit apex association of company directors committed to improving the competitiveness of Indian business, the GPA awards have become one of the most coveted corporate excellence awards in India. The awards are focused on driving excellence in quality, innovation, training, governance, environmental management and corporate social responsibility.
