Our Program at a Glance

As an analyst, your role will include client processing, data analysis and involvement in an enterprise-wide strategic business project. The OCAP offers new analysts:

Eligibility and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year program (U.S.) or full-time undergraduate (UK) degree program with a strong focus on business-related subjects like Data Science Operations Management, Statistics, and Analytics.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 or better (U.S.) or 2:1 (UK)
  • A strong candidate possesses intellectual curiosity and self-motivation, a drive to innovate, and a commitment to excellence
  • Strong creativity and problem solving skills
  • Should not require sponsorship for employment visa status, now or in the future, in the region where they apply.

Accounting Services

Accounting Services was established in 2018 to enhance BNY Mellon’s integrated accounting capabilities across the organization. The organization now includes the following divisions: Brazil Fund Administration Services, Fund Accounting and Administration, Structured Funds, Global Institutional Accounting, Global Risk Solutions, and Securities Data Management.

Alternative Investment Services

BNY Mellon offers innovative services developed exclusively for alternative investments. We provide a powerful platform to help clients manage the operations of hedge fund, fund of hedge fund, private equity and real estate assets. Alternative Investment Services provides a full range of services, including custody, cash management, accounting and administration and investor services, we help alternative investment managers to maintain their investment focus while we support fund operations.

Client Experience and Client Activation for Asset Servicing

Client Activation is a Center of Excellence utility which focuses on the key areas of Know-Your-Customer, Contract and Document Management, and Global Market Activation, Investment Management Services, and Asset Conversions for businesses across Investment Services. The Client Experience organization is focused on delivering a consistent and premier end-to-end client experience to our clients. The group interacts with clients on a daily basis to deliver the best-in-class experience. The Client Experience organization is the liaison, bridging our clients with our service as well as connecting the dots across other areas of the company including products, relationship, sales, marketing, pricing, contracts and technology.

Control Management

Control Management provides a range of services to all internal BNYM lines of businesses with primary focus with BNYM Operations. Control Management’s role is to be the guardian of BNYM, our clients and their assets. Control Management’s offerings are split between Control Assurance and Control Operations functions. Control Assurance teams are responsible for advisory services, control testing, financial reporting and on-going support to prevent issues as well as remediation. Control Operations teams offer various utility services such as Reconciliation services, Abandoned Property management, Client Asset Controls and Assets under Custody/Administration reporting amongst other Compliance and Support functions.

Markets Operations

Markets Operations provides operational support to BNY Mellon’s wider Markets business. This includes Transition and Onboarding of Markets clients, supporting pre and post execution within the Fixed Income, Equity, Securities Finance and FX trade lifecycles, servicing of the various Markets Products, and Regulatory Reporting.

Middle Office

Middle Office Solutions, provides investment administration services to clients that want to outsource non-core Operations and Technology and focus on their core competency of investment management and client service.

Shared Services

Shared Services brings together the functional expertise of operational groups utilized across various lines of business at BNY Mellon in order to better serve clients and power global financial markets. Comprised of Global Securities Operations, Global Payments and Treasury Services Operations, and Global Network Management, this team aims to enhance operational efficiencies and streamline overlapping needs across the organization. Functions supported include custody, income collection and distribution, trade instruction and settlement, multi-currency payments, and the management of third-party sub custodian relationships across 35 countries and 100 global markets.

Tax Services

Tax operations insures BNY Mellon properly withholds income tax and reports related income and tax to tax authorities. The function also requests refunds of tax from various global tax authorities on behalf of clients.

Transfer Agency

Global Transfer Agency provide comprehensive administrative and recordkeeping support for mutual fund services across the US, EMEA and offshore fund domiciles and fund administration services. The organization also provides sub accounting, which is a key offering in the traditional asset servicing investor record keeping space. Our team provides multi-currency and multilingual capabilities for offshore portfolios, assists global investors in addressing multi-jurisdictional regulatory, tax and currency requirements and delivers fund accounting, investor servicing, fund order processing, tax, financial and regulatory reporting services.

Transformation and Program Management

Transformation and Program Management is the premier provider of consulting services to businesses across BNY Mellon; managing portfolios of programs and projects across the front-to-back life cycle. The group partners with Operations, Digital, various business lines, Risk, Legal, Finance, and Strategy groups within the organization. Transformation and Program Management consists of professionals with diverse backgrounds and expertise in practices such as automation/digitization, regulatory, process architecture, location strategy, platform consolidation, and process reengineering and strategy.
