Akash Shah is Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Growth Officer. He is also a member of the company’s Executive Committee.
As Head of the Growth Ventures business, Akash focuses on commercializing existing capabilities and innovating new product offerings to address client needs. Akash also manages BNY Mellon’s market-leading software and data management business.
Akash joined BNY Mellon as Head of Strategy in July 2018. He was previously a partner at McKinsey & Company, advising leading financial institutions in the U.S., Europe, and Asia, as well as co-leading McKinsey’s Capital Markets & Investment Banking practice.
Akash is on the board of the literary journal, The Paris Review. He is a graduate of Yale University.
