The competition demonstrates BNY Mellon's dedication to support and promote young talent and collaborate with universities across the country.
This year we are inviting final year students of 2019 and 2020 from universities across Poland to submit their theses leveraging applied mathematics. Applications should be submitted until 20 September 2020* in English or, if in Polish, must be accompanied by a full English translation. Submissions that meet the qualification criteria will be reviewed by a judging panel consisting of academics and BNY Mellon representatives.

*Due to reasons related to the pandemic situation, the deadline for submitting master's theses has been extended until September 30, 2020.
Top three theses will be awarded with prizes and presented at an awards ceremony in December 2020. Subject to the rules of the competition, awards are as follows:
- 1st place: 15,000 PLN
- 2nd place: 10,000 PLN
- 3rd place: 5,000 PLN
