Pawan Panjwani

Pawan Panjwani is the Head of BNY Mellon Engineering in India and has about three decades of progressive technology transformation experience with top-tier global banking and financial institutions.

Pawan has a track record of building and operating peak-performing global teams at industry leaders – JP Morgan & Chase, Bank of America (erstwhile Merrill Lynch & Countrywide), Wells Fargo, Accenture and Infosys. Pawan has been a member of senior Operating Committees representing seasoned and broad-based technology perspective to implement pragmatic business strategies. Pawan has worked in the U.S., India and Singapore.

Most recently Pawan was an EVP & Chief Information Officer for Wells Fargo International where he was responsible for technology solutions and support to the Bank’s businesses outside of the U.S., across Canada, Europe and Asia regions. Before joining Wells Fargo in Singapore early 2022, Pawan was with JPMorgan in India for more than fifteen years where worked as a MD & Head of Technology in India and built & led the capability of 18,000 technologists for the bank.

Pawan was a VC++ programmer in his formative years of career and enjoys learning emerging technologies (Trivia: AWS Solution Architect certification in 2020). Pawan has done his engineering graduation from a regional Indian university in 1994 and general management program from INSEAD in 2013.

In his free time, Pawan likes to spend time with his two teenaged kids.
