Interim Head of Human Resources
Greg Nehro is the interim Head of Human Resources, overseeing BNY Mellon’s Human Resources and Communications functions. He is responsible for all human resources strategies, policies and practices for more than 50,000 employees around the world, leading the company’s efforts to attract, retain, develop and reward diverse talent globally. He also oversees internal and external communications, philanthropy and corporate social responsibility. Greg is also a member of the company’s Executive Committee.
Greg joined BNY Mellon in 2011 and has served in a number of senior roles. Prior to assuming his current role in March, he was the company’s Global Head of Regulatory Enforcement, Investigations and Employment, with overall responsibility for employment law and litigation, regulatory and enforcement matters, and corporate internal investigations.
Prior to joining BNY Mellon, Greg was an Associate General Counsel at Fidelity. He previously served as Head of Litigation and Regulatory Affairs for Cowen Group, and also worked at Credit Suisse and Heller Ehrman.
Greg began his legal career as an associate at Shearman & Sterling. He received a B.A. from Colby College and his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
