Our diversity and inclusion efforts succeed, in large part, due to the active leadership of our Global Diversity and Inclusion Council. This primary governing body comprises more than 40 of our most senior executives and is chaired by BNY Mellon’s president.
Members of the Council serve as stewards and culture carriers of our diversity and inclusion agenda. They convene several times a year to share successes and best practices, discuss challenges, coordinate actions and advance our strategic priorities.
The Council is supported by regional and country councils in our APAC and EMEA regions. These local councils ensure global connectivity and coordination. Working hand-in-hand with our employee resource groups, the local councils drive diversity and inclusion engagement that serves regional and country-specific priorities and market-based needs.
