Employee Resource Groups

Employee Resource Groups

For ambitious, talented people, BNY Mellon offers a career launching pad – a chance to dream big, an opportunity to push past perceived boundaries. Much of this is possible because of the support of great colleagues, who are equally driven, but who place great value in winning as a team. Our team culture is most apparent in our employee resource groups (ERGs).

ERGs, comprising employees who voluntarily convene and mobilize around a shared characteristic, interest or set of experiences, are key drivers for our diversity and inclusion strategy. As ERG members, employees increase their visibility inside and outside of their respective business units, express and establish their unique value outside of their day-to-day work and help ensure our differences contribute to the success of our company.

Evolving to Deliver Greater Business Impact

Our ERG members are collaborating within their respective ERGs and across ERGS to intentionally transform themselves into business resource groups (BRGs) to deliver greater business impact. They’re also joining forces with the employee groups of our clients. By convening fellow thought leaders and change agents, who share similar values and common goals, and contributing the best of BNY Mellon, our ERGs/BRGs are driving greater, collective impact.
