Head of Emerging Markets Sovereign Research, Standish Mellon Asset Management
Kjetil is Head of Emerging Markets Sovereign Research at Standish, a BNY Mellon subsidiary, and the company's Senior Sovereign Analyst. He is responsible for research on economies throughout Emerging Markets Europe and Africa.
Kjetil joined Standish from the Hartford Investment Management Company, where he was Senior Analyst responsible for economic modeling and assisting in the management of multi-strategy fixed income portfolios. Prior to that, Kjetil was Vice President and Emerging Market Sovereign Analyst with Den Norske Bank in Norway. He has also taught economics at Shandong University of Finance in China.
Kjetil, who has 14 years of investment experience, received a master's degree in Economics from Cambridge University in England and an M.B.A. from the Tuck School at Dartmouth. He holds the CFA® designation.
