Sam Jacob, Managing Director, heads Sales Strategy and Markets Solutions for BNY Mellon Markets. Sam focuses on developing and delivering solutions that help clients access financing and liquidity needs and manage collateral by leveraging BNY Mellon Markets extensive suite of products. 

Prior to his current role, Sam was global head of collateral segregation and liquidity products for Global Collateral Services. While in this role, Sam led the various product teams, introduced award winning products, drove client adoption and substantially grew the overall product set and capabilities into a leading market position. Given his extensive experience in this field and deep understanding of client needs and evolving markets, Sam represents the firm at various panels and market events on the subject of financing, liquidity and collateral.

Sam joined BNY Mellon's Office of Innovation in 2008, where, he was actively engaged in aligning go to market efforts and accelerating new product development and innovation in the liquidity, financing, collateral management and market infrastructure space and is a patent holder for the bank. At the Office of Innovation, he also helped build the firm’s Global Regional Strategies and led the strategic execution on transformation initiatives.

Previously, in senior management roles as Management Consultant with Ernst & Young, as Strategy Consultant with the Mitchell Madison Group and as Financial Solutions Lead for IBM, Sam has led and implemented product growth and operational efficiency initiatives which enhanced top and/or bottom line performance for various leading global buy side and capital markets firms.

Sam holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and obtained his BS degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania.
