Rob Phillips is the Senior Vice President in Consultant Relations with the Investment Management division for BNY Mellon. He is also a member of the company’s Collective Fund Advisory Committee, the senior-most governing body of the corporation’s bank collective funds.
Rob has an extensive background in the retirement industry, with over 25 years of experience working with defined contribution, defined benefit and non-qualified retirement accounts. He has held a variety of positions with BNY Mellon, serving as an Administrative Portfolio Officer for a Bank Collective fund from 2003 to 2006 and the Chief Compliance & Risk Officer of Mellon Pension Services in 2005/2006. He served as Vice President from 1998 to 2005 after joining Mellon Human Resources & Investor Solutions. Prior to this role, Rob held the position of Assistant Vice President in the Mellon Bank Credit Card division from 1995 to 1998. Before joining BNY Mellon, Rob was a Bank Officer with PNC Financial Corporation.
Rob holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a registered representative through FINRA, holding series 3, 6, 7 and 63 securities licenses. In 2010, Rob joined the Advisory Board for DV Sport, Inc. He works to assist with policy and business oversight for this technology-focused organization.
