Hector Herrera, with his seasoned team of sales professionals, leads Corporate Trust’s business development efforts for certain strategic clients of BNY Mellon as well as focusing on Government, Public-Not-For- Profit, Project Finance and Conventional Debt Sales for the Americas.
From 2010 to 2017, Hector was Corporate Trust’s Business Development lead for Latin America and Canada; during which time he successfully won and on boarded multiple landmark transactions for the firm.
As well as having strong industry relationships and a deep understanding of the global markets, he has specific experience in complex, structured and specialty products.
He joined BNY Mellon in 1999 initially as a Business Group Manager with responsibility for non-US Corporate Trust businesses operating in New York, London and Singapore, before then moving into a business development function in 2005. Post-graduation and prior to joining BNY Mellon, Hector worked for Bankers Trust in Global Markets initially as an analyst, focusing on fixed income and currency products before moving into ADR sales, with assignments in both New York and London.
Hector Herrera holds MBA in Finance and B.S. in Economics from Rutgers University.
