Christopher Mager is a Managing Director in the Digital Office of BNY Mellon Treasury Services. In this role, he leads a team responsible for digital transformation and research, development and thought leadership for emerging technology including blockchain and artificial intelligence among others. Mr. Mager was a member of the Federal Reserve’s Faster Payments Task Force and is a frequent speaker on payment modernization initiatives. He has held various leadership roles in Sales, Product Management, Segment Management, and Innovation within BNY Mellon Treasury Services.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from the Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University, a master of business administration degree from the Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh, and is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP). He is a graduate of the Harvard Business School High Potentials Leadership Program, and BNY Mellon’s Leadership Development and Strategy to Win programs. He has a certification in Human Centered Design from the LUMA Institute.
