About Chandresh Iyer

Chandresh Iyer is Managing Director and Global Head of Middle-Office Solutions at BNY Mellon. In this capacity, Chandresh will lead BNY Mellon’s middle-office offerings across its Asset Servicing and Alternative Investment Services businesses towards a more standardized, scalable and profitable middle-office solution set.

Chandresh came to BNY Mellon from Citi’s Investor Services business where he was the business head focusing on the wealth and asset manager segment. In this capacity, he led the strategic direction and business execution of Global Custody, Fund Services, and Middle-office Outsourcing Services for buy-side clients including pensions, fund managers, banks and wealth management companies. Prior to this, he held several roles in strategy and product management where he led the scaling and commercialization of innovation in a global, risk-aware and regulated operating environment.

Prior to Citi, he was at Merrill Lynch where he supported institutional equity technology with strategic project and program management across large-scale initiatives in client management, clearing and prime brokerage. Earlier in his career, he was with KPMG Consulting where led several assignments in wholesale banking.

He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and is widely quoted in areas of asset management outsourcing, hedge funds and wealth management. He was recognized in 2010 by the Institutional Investor publication for contributions in the separately managed accounts industry.

Chandresh has an MBA from Carnegie- Mellon University and a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from the Ohio State University. He received his Bachelor’s in Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Trichy, India.
