Business Head – U.S. Asset Servicing Mid-Market and CAO of U.S. Asset Servicing
Brian Chorba is the Business Head for the U.S. Mid-Market segment of BNY Mellon Asset Servicing and serves as the U.S. Asset Servicing CAO. As Business Head he manages teams that oversee the 800+ US based corporate, government, and not-for-profit clients as well as investment managers, banks, and insurance clients. As CAO, his teams’ are the business interface for communication and administration with corporate teams and all shared services (HR, audit, compliance, legal). They are also responsible for client services and project management for all USAS businesses.
Prior to his current appointment Brian held various senior roles including Global Head of Integration for BNYM’s PNC-GIS acquisition; Business Manager for DPM Mellon hedge fund administration company; and corporate development positions in Mellon’s Capital Markets, Asset Management, and Asset Servicing areas. Brian has over 27 years of M&A, strategy, and business development experience starting with Westinghouse Financial Services where he was formally trained in corporate finance and credit. Previous to joining Mellon he was a principle and founder of Corporate Development Partners, a Pittsburgh, PA based boutique investment bank.
Brian holds an MBA from Robert Morris University and BA in Business Administration & Psychology from Washington and Jefferson College. He is/was a Board member for various companies/ non-profits. Professional licenses- Series 7 / 63
