Kathleen Scott has been appointed to a newly created role to lead the corporate and insurance activities within BNY Mellon’s Corporate Trust business in the U.S. Scott has responsibility for all aspects of sales, business development and client relations and reports to Richard P. Stanley, BNY Mellon Executive Vice President and Head of the U.S. Region for Corporate Trust.
Scott joined BNY Mellon from Citigroup, where she was global head of the issuer services specialized agency. She previously held a number of other senior management positions at Citi.
“Kathleen is well positioned to help BNY Mellon clients find broad solutions to the challenges they face, as her background combines technical capabilities, treasury services, and issuer services, in addition to experience specific to the corporate trust business,” said Stanley. “Kathleen has demonstrated strong leadership skills in leading the growth of corporate trust operations globally, and I am confident her experience and expertise will be a significant asset to BNY Mellon as we continue to grow our business in the U.S.”
Scott received an MBA from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University and a bachelor’s degree from Boston University.
