BNY Mellon is honored to have won three ‘Triple A’ Awards by The Asset in 2018. For nearly 20 years, the awards have recognized Asia’s leading asset servicers, institutional investors and insurance providers.
BNY Mellon was named the Best Global Custodian of International Clients, reflecting its position as a global investments company dedicated to helping its clients manage and service their financial assets throughout the investment lifecycle.
“We are honored to be recognized for our world-leading client servicing,” said Rohan Singh, Head of Asset Servicing, Asia Pacific. “Excellence in servicing clients has evolved to a point where we need to place ourselves at the center of our clients’ businesses – this means adding value beyond just global custody. It requires us to assist our clients with operating efficiency and enhancing yield. Our solutions across the areas of data aggregation, collateral optimization and thought leadership are key, with technology at the heart of this. At BNY Mellon, we are proud to offer both and pleased to have been recognized accordingly by The Asset.”
For its work with the Postal Savings Bank of China, BNY Mellon was awarded Best Corporate Trust Mandate for the Financial Institutions category. The company was also named Best in Collateral Management for the fifth consecutive year and received a further five nominations.
“The Asset’s award honors our extensive experience as a leader in Asia Pacific debt capital markets and in global securities servicing. We are proud of the role we played in Postal Savings Bank of China’s first US-dollar denominated issuance, which in addition is the world’s largest additional tier-1 (AT1) issuance,” said Kenneth Cheong, Managing Director of Corporate Trust, Asia Pacific.
“We are delighted once again to be receiving this award for the fifth consecutive year. Our teams work closely with our clients to develop solutions that help mobilize global assets. Further penetration into emerging markets is a strong focus for us in Asia Pacific and we are proud to be the first to market with our triparty Northbound Stock Connect product at the start of this year. We will continue to listen to our clients’ needs and work on delivering innovative solutions to the APAC market,” said Natalie Wallder, Markets’ Head of Collateral Management, Asia Pacific.
