BNY Mellon, a global leader in investment management and investment services, has announced that its Treasury Services business has been recognized as Best Correspondent Bank by Global Trade Review (GTR). The GTR Leaders in Trade awards recognize excellence in trade, commodity, supply chain, and export finance. GTR’s editorial staff selects best-in-category winners from nominated financial institutions.
GTR presented the award at its Leaders in Trade dinner in London on April 26, 2018.
This is BNY Mellon’s second win in the category since GTR established the award in 2017. In previous years, BNY Mellon has made regular appearances in GTR rankings, named as Best Trade Outsourcing Bank each year since 2009.
BNY Mellon delivers a range of solutions across the trade finance spectrum, including traditional correspondent trade, risk mitigation, and supply chain finance offerings. Its suite of trade processing services provides importers and exporters with timely and accurate execution of trade transactions through more than 1,600 correspondent banks.
“This consecutive win of the Best Correspondent Bank award underscores what we do best: providing operating expertise and exceptional client service on a global scale,” said Dominic Broom, Global Head of Trade Business Development for BNY Mellon Treasury Services. “We continue to invest in new solutions and enabling technologies to remain the leader in meeting client needs, in an ever-changing landscape.”
