In choosing the World’s Best Securities Services Providers 2016, Global Finance magazine has named BNY Mellon the winner in two major categories – Best Global Corporate Trust Services Provider and Best Global Bank for Depositary Receipts.
Among the seven global categories, BNY Mellon was the only company to be honored with two awards. Depositary Receipts also was recently chosen by emeaFinance Magazine as its 2015 Best Depositary Receipt Bank – an honor it’s garnered in eight of the last nine years.
“We’re pleased to receive this award and be recognized by Global Finance for our team’s dedication to clients,” said Christopher M. Kearns, CEO of BNY Mellon’s Depositary Receipts business. “There’s a good reason why most of the world’s issuers trust us to provide their DR services – we are unmatched in connecting issuers, brokers and investors to the world’s capital markets.”
In announcing the 2016 winners across several financial services categories, Joseph D. Giarraputo, Global Finance publisher and editorial director, said, “Global investors and institutions want to work with firms that are the safest and have the most in-depth knowledge of local markets and regulatory regimes. With these awards, we evaluate those providers that do the best job of securities servicing in increasingly complex global markets.”
