BNY Mellon President Karen Peetz officially opened the company’s new office in the center of the new financial district of Milan, Italy, last week in a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by distinguished guests and BNY Mellon employees.
The move to Via Mike Bongiorno, 13 brings together the branches of The Bank of New York Mellon (Luxembourg) S.A and of BNY Mellon Investment Management EMEA Ltd., which had both previously been based in separate offices.
BNY Mellon has been serving clients in Italy since 1941 and has had a physical presence in Milan since the early 1970s.
Today, the Milan office manages over 80 different client relationships and supports a comprehensive range of investment services including asset servicing, corporate trust, depositary receipts, treasury and broker/dealer services. BNY Mellon Investment Management has been present in Milan since 2001.
