Engineering Analyst Program

Our Engineering analyst program is an 18-month program that was created to recruit, develop, and retain high-potential, entry-level, technology professionals who will contribute to the successful execution of BNY Mellon’s technology strategy and initiatives.

Program Highlights

Duration: 18-month non-rotational program
Eligibility: December 2023 – May 2024 Graduates

 

Responsibilities by Track

 

Data Science

  • Apply scientific methods to find solutions to real business problems.
  • Perform data analysis, feature engineering, and advanced methods to prepare and develop decisions based on data.
  • Provide insight into observed business outcomes through analytics.
  • Perform data profiling to identify and understand anomalies in data.
  • Grow and develop skills across the 3 domain specialties: Machine Learning, Feature Engineering and Advanced Analytics capabilities. Stressing expertise in the core functional areas: Computer Programming, Math & Analytic Methodology, Distributed computing, and communications of complex results.

Developer

  • Provides application software development services or technical support in relatively straightforward projects. Understands and follows the Software Development Life Cycle. Prepares and executes test plan and test data and records test results.
  • Designs and codes programs. Creates test transactions and runs tests to find errors and revise programs, as necessary. Documents installation and operating procedures.
  • Independently codes and then interfaces with senior level developers/architects to code, test and implement application programs

Eligibility

  • A recent college graduate or enrolled in an accredited university/college pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or a related technology discipline graduating by Summer 2024
  • 0-2 years of experience in software development preferred. Previous technology internship is a plus
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better 
  • Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the country where applying
