What is the best way to express interest in a position at BNY Mellon?

Why should I take the time to register and create a profile?

By registering and creating your personal candidate profile, you can choose to receive personal e-mails when new jobs are being posted. When you register with BNY Mellon, you can post your resume electronically, update your personal job profile, contact information and job preferences, and keep track of jobs you’ve applied for.

 

How often are job postings updated?

BNY Mellon job postings are updated everyday.

 

How do I view or check the status of my previous job applications?

You may view the status of your application(s) here. Once logged into your profile, select the “My Jobpage” tab in the upper left hand corner. Here you may view your application submission(s) and their status, noted as the “Job Status” field:

  • Active – Your application is still being reviewed.
  • Inactive – The position may be on hold or was filled by another applicant. If the position was filled, you should have received an email notification indicating this update.

 

After I have submitted a resume and applied to a position, when will I hear back from BNY Mellon?

If you have the qualities and experience that we are looking for in a candidate, a recruiter will contact you to schedule a preliminary phone interview. If your response to one or more qualifying questions indicates that you do not have the minimum qualifications, you will be notified by email.

 

What if I forgot my username and password?

If you forgot your username or password, please click "Forgot User Name" or "Forgot Password." The information will be sent to the e-mail address that is on your candidate account. If you are experiencing problems with the reset of a user name or password, contact us. Please be specific as to the problems you are experiencing and provide the correct name and e-mail address that is on your account.
