FAQs

How do I submit my resume?

If you would like to submit your resume for a specific job, you must apply online. If you would like your resume to be viewable for any position, please make sure to add your resume to your candidate and profile account. If you do not already have a candidate account, register as a "new user." Creating this account will allow our recruiters to access your resume and match it against future opportunities.

Can I fax or send my resume?

Please note that BNY Mellon only accepts resumes online. We invite you to visit our Careers page at http://jobs.bnymellon.com/ to view job listings and information about working here. To submit your resume online, please see the answer above.

What if I forgot my user name or password?

If you forgot your username or password, please click "Forgot User Name" or "Forgot Password." The information will be sent to the e-mail address that is on your candidate account. If you are experiencing problems with the reset of a user name or password, contact us. Please be specific as to the problems you are experiencing and provide the correct name and e-mail address that is on your account.

What if I need to delete a resume or attachment within my candidate account?

There is a limit of five attachments per account. Because of regulatory reasons, we do not allow users to delete attachments once saved. We strongly encourage you to keep your resume and cover letter consistent when expressing interest in positions. If information has changed with your account, you can update it via the online account form.

Do I need to express interest separately for each job posting?

Yes.

What benefits does BNY Mellon offer?

BNY Mellon offers a flexible benefits plan for full-time and permanent part-time employees. You have the option of choosing the benefits that matter to you most. Visit our Working at BNY Mellon page to learn more.

What is the recruiting process like?

Our recruiting process may require more than one visit to the office. If you are called for an interview, you will most likely meet with a Human Resources recruiter on your first visit. After meeting with a recruiter, you may be asked to return to meet with the manager(s) in a particular department.
