Robin Vince Appointed Chief Executive Officer of BNY Mellon and Member of the Board of Directors

In March of 2022, BNY Mellon announced that Todd Gibbons would retire as Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors on August 31, 2022. Today, Robin Vince, BNY Mellon’s President and previously Vice Chair and CEO of Global Market Infrastructure, succeeds Mr. Gibbons, becoming the Company’s CEO and a member of the Board of Directors.
As Vice Chair of BNY Mellon and CEO of Global Market Infrastructure, Mr. Vince oversaw BNY Mellon’s Clearance and Collateral Management, Treasury Services, Markets and Execution Services and Pershing businesses. Prior to joining BNY Mellon, Mr. Vince spent 26 years with Goldman Sachs, most recently serving as Chief Risk Officer and member of the Management Committee and previously as Treasurer, Head of Operations, Head of Global Money Markets, Chief Operating Officer of the EMEA region and CEO of Goldman Sachs International Bank, among other roles.
