Employees in Action

We invite employees at all levels of the company to make a difference by participating in our global Community Impact programs. Eligible employees may take up to three days of paid volunteer time per year and receive company-matching donations for their time. BNY Mellon also incentivizes charitable donations to nonprofits by matching their employees’ donations.

 

Since the program’s 2008 launch, BNY Mellon employees have volunteered more than 1 million hours, valued at more than $20 million, with employee donations and company matching accounting for more than $160 million to nonprofit organizations around the globe.

 

Support for Eligible Organizations

BNY Mellon will consider support for organizations that fit within our funding priorities and the company’s geographical footprint. In the United States, the organization must have an IRS designation of 501(c)(3). Organizations in other countries must meet requirements for their respective country’s governance.
