Tracey supports Human Resources Operations throughout the recruiting lifecycle by working with stakeholders to understand current and future recruitment needs and translating those goals into timely, result-driven action items. By developing and administering sourcing programs, Tracey helps the company in identifying and recruiting top talent. 

 

What excites you about working at BNY Mellon?

 

I am grateful to work for a company that touches lives all over the world. As an HR professional, I feel that my purpose is to assist and inspire others to accomplish their goals at BNY Mellon. Our company’s commitment to its core values is what sets us apart. My favorite aspect of BNY Mellon is our dedication to diversity and inclusion. As an African American woman in the financial services industry, it drives me to pave the way for people who look like me.

 

What does diversity mean to you?

 

Heritage months, such as Black History Month in the U.S, encourage us to both reflect and look forward. It’s a time to focus on African Americans, their accomplishments that have shaped the U.S. today and what we will continue to do. The month is an opportunity to celebrate, support and encourage one another to remain persistent in taking our rightful seat at the table. We have continued to endure the unimaginable, and I think it is critical to take this time to acknowledge it. As a champion of diversity and inclusion, I strive to contribute to these goals daily and to keep this core value top of mind at the company.

I come to work every day as my authentic self, complete with a smile! I want to be a voice for others. I’m passionate about ensuring that my candidates not only have the opportunity to work at BNY Mellon, but also that they know that I am an advocate for them, their goals and dreams.
