Abdullah Alsuwailmey

Abdullah has over 27 years of experience in Technology, Finance, Capital Markets and Leadership. His proven track record of achievements reflects sound business judgment, project management, leadership and problem solving capabilities. He played a key role in the overhaul of the Saudi capital market over the a period of 12 years (2001 – 2013) and lead the establishment and development of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) to become the leader among its peers in the region and one of the major emerging markets globally. Previous to that, his work at the central bank (SAMA) and the stock exchange demonstrated capability in leading complex national infrastructure projects that involved many stakeholders. In recent years, Alsuweilmy chaired/served on boards of various companies (state owned, private and family owned) as an independent board member with the objective of leading and assisting the transformation of these entities into the next stage of maturity.
