Joseph Pizzuto Named BNY Mellon’s Chief Auditor

BNY Mellon today announced that Joseph Pizzuto will join as Chief Auditor, responsible for leading the company’s Internal Audit group to ensure the strength, effectiveness and efficiency of the company’s internal controls system. He will also be a member of BNY Mellon’s Executive Committee.

 

Robin Vince, BNY Mellon President and Chief Executive Officer said, “Joseph joins us at a moment where resilience and trust are critical to being commercial. He will lead the Internal Audit team, working closely with Audit leadership and many others across the firm.

Mr. Pizzuto brings an internal audit background of nearly 30 years, having served as chief audit executive for organizations including General Motors, GE Capital and Citibank N.A.
