BNY Mellon Receives Double Recognition at AsianInvestor Asset Management Awards 2021

BNY Mellon has won two awards from AsianInvestor at its Asset Management Awards 2021 — Best Global Custodian for Asset Owners and Best Data/Technology Services Provider — wins that recognize its position as a leading service provider in the region.
For the second time, BNY Mellon was named Best Global Custodian for Asset Owners, in recognition of the strong momentum across its businesses, formation of its new digital assets unit, as well as advancements in BNY Mellon Data and Analytics Solutions and BNY Mellon OMNISM, an interconnected global network powered by data to help clients drive business growth.
The award also recognized how BNY Mellon supports its clients’ expansion of product offerings by facilitating the utilization of China’s access schemes, including being the first global custodian to provide a seamless execution to custody services, allowing global clients in other regions to participate in a same-day trade and settlement cycle. Following the success of its Stock Connect triparty solution, BNY Mellon has also become the first triparty agent to open up the Chinese bond market to the international collateral marketplace.

In addition, the award-winning BNY Mellon Data and Analytics Solutions also received the Best Data/Technology Services Provider, a new category introduced this year, for the breadth of technology and data projects implemented to support asset owners and asset managers in Asia Pacific, including key innovations built on Microsoft Azure.
