Emily Shepperd is the Chief Operating Officer for BNY Mellon’s business presence across the EMEA region. She is a member of the EMEA Chairman's Forum, and the Corporate and EMEA Operating Committees. Her key responsibilities include aligning critical areas of strategy, delivering operational and regulatory change and the development of BNY Mellon’s target operating model to drive enhanced business performance across the region.
Emily is also responsible for EMEA Investment Services Products and Strategy and the EMEA Programme Management Office (PMO).
Emily first joined BNY Securities Ltd in 2003 where she worked on the integration of Pershing. She then led the change management group within Pershing Limited, based in London, before being appointed head of the EMEA Corporate PMO team at BNY Mellon.
Before joining BNY Mellon, Emily spent a number of years at JPMorgan Chase and Co. where she led a number of programmes including the introduction of an Operational Risk department, the acquisition and integration of Jardine Fleming (APAC) and integration of JP Morgan Investment Bank (EMEA).
Emily is an active member of the Association for Financial Markets in Europe and sits on the Advisory Board of the Masters In Leadership at Cass Business School. She has a BSc in Psychology and Genetics and holds an MBA from Cass Business School.
