John Jack is the International CFO for BNY Mellon based in London. As the senior finance leader outside the U.S. he is responsible for coordinating and executing the financial strategy for EMEA and APAC, working closely with all global business and shared service leaders, and representing BNY Mellon with local regulatory authorities. These duties include overseeing the timely preparation of financial statements for both internal and external reporting purposes, supporting regional initiatives and managing strategic legal entity projects, overseeing the international treasury function for regional banks and branches in coordination with Global Treasury, and coordinating with corporate tax reporting and compliance.
John joined BNY Mellon in April 2010 as EMEA Controller responsible for Financial and Regulatory Reporting. Previously, he was Senior Director of Accounting Operations at Barclays Global Investors (BGI), responsible for all financial and regulatory reporting, billing and accounts payable in Europe. Prior to his role at BGI, John worked in senior finance positions in a number of financial institutions.
John is a member of the Corporate Operating Committee, the EMEA Chairman's Forum and the EMEA Investment Services Committee.
John qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in London and holds a BSc in Mathematical Sciences from Bath University.
