Emily Portney and Paulette Mullings Bradnock Recognized by American Banker’s 2020 Most Powerful Women

American Banker recognized two senior leaders at BNY Mellon, Emily Portney and Paulette Mullings Bradnock, in its "Most Powerful Women" 2020 issue. Through this program, American Banker recognizes the professional achievements and influence of the top-performing female executives in banking and financial services. This year’s diverse list of leaders and change-makers spans the industry and highlights a shared commitment to driving real outcomes for diversity, equity, and inclusion in financial services.

Portney was recognized for her strong leadership at the onset of the global pandemic. Under her guidance, the Asset Servicing client facing teams deepened their engagement with clients during the first half of 2020, doubling the number of client presentations compared to the year prior. Bradnock, as Chief Auditor at BNY Mellon since 2015, has enhanced the Internal Audit function and increased collaboration with regulators.
