Mohit Sarvaiya

Mohit Sarvaiya is the EMEA Chief Information Officer for BNY Mellon.  He has responsibility for the Technology Investment strategy, Delivery of Application Services, Infrastructure and Data Services, Information Security and general IT Risk and Controls strategy.  He has 26 years of experience leading Technology functions in large financial institutions including Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley and Citibank, working in Asia and Europe.  He has worked in India, Singapore, Hong Kong and also in Japan for 10 years of his career running various CTO and CIO functions for the APAC region.

Over the last 16 years Mohit has led several global Engineering and Transformation initiatives in a number of senior roles including Head of IT Risk and Controls, Chief Information Security Officer, Chief Data Officer and Chief Technology Officer.  In addition, he was the Global Environment (Green IT) Exec for The Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Regional Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) and Learning sponsor.
