BNY Mellon’s Collaboration with EZOPS Wins Alternatives Fund Services Project of the Year

DECEMBER 10, 2020

BNY Mellon won Alternatives Fund Services Project of the Year at this year’s Global Custodian magazine Fund Services Industry Leaders Awards in recognition of its collaborative work with EZOPS.

In addition, BNY Mellon’s Pershing won two awards in the Prime Brokerage category: for Client Service and for Large Cap Clients: Securities Lending.

BNY Mellon worked with EZOPS to modernize its reconciliation capabilities, providing insights and self-service capabilities as part of a broader digital strategy to drive efficiency for clients by leveraging machine learning and automation. BNY Mellon implemented this initially in its Alternatives business within Asset Servicing, before expanding the capabilities across other business lines.

“We are delighted to receive this recognition of the collaborative work we’ve been doing to build an innovative network and digital ecosystem that enables BNY Mellon to provide enhanced value for our clients,” said Alan Flanagan, Head of Fund Services at BNY Mellon. “Our collaboration with EZOPS is an example of our dedication to broadening the scope of our digital ecosystem by actively advancing our own solutions as well as seeking opportunities to collaborate with best-in-class external companies.”

“We are honored to be a part of BNY Mellon’s digital journey and humbled that our AI-powered data control, reconciliation and automation platform has been recognized as a critical driver for innovation and digitization,” said Bikram Singh, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of EZOPS.

BNY Mellon received the awards at Global Custodian’s virtual awards event held on December 10, 2020.
