The Changing Landscape for Asset Servicing in EMEA

Hani Kablawi, Head of Asset Servicing for Europe, Middle East and Africa explores the key priorities for institutional investors as they seek to grow and transform their businesses in today's challenging and evolving environment. Kablawi stresses that it is incumbent on both investors and service providers to address change head-on and to engage at a practical level in dealing with the demands and obligations now being made upon the financial services industry — not least of which is adapting to new regulatory requirements as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Kablawi also discusses the new risk paradigm that is impacting the industry. He points to the importance of data and technology in developing a range of flexible and tailored services and solutions focused on risk, compliance and data management.
