The Search for Growth: Opportunities and Risks for Institutional Investors in 2012 (Executive Summary)Sponsored by BNY Mellon, The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) conducted a global market survey in early 2012 to examine the prospects for economic and market growth from the perspective of both institutional investors and corporate executives. Based on the responses of nearly 800 survey participants and a series of in-depth interviews with leading investors and experts, the study explores the potential for growth across a wide range of sectors, regions and asset classes, and the likelihood and impact of a range of both positive and negative scenarios. This is the second year in a row BNY Mellon and the EIU have partnered on this project.
