Rebecca heads Developed Markets Sovereign Research at Standish, a BNY Mellon subsidiary, and is a Portfolio Manager on the Global Fixed Income team. She is responsible for developed market country and currency research with a regional focus in core Europe, the U.S. and Japan. She also works with the global team to formulate portfolio strategy and manage global bond portfolios.
Before joining Standish in 2010, Rebecca was an economist and emerging market strategist at Manulife Asset Management in Boston. Previous to her work in the private sector, she was a tenure-track professor at California State University, where she published two academic papers in the area of global macroeconomics and international finance.
Rebecca has seven years of industry experience. She received a Ph.D. and masters in Economics from the University of Colorado, and a B.A. in mathematics from the University of Colorado. She is a member of the Boston Security Analysts Society and the holder of the CFA® designation.
