Paul Schmidt joined BNY Mellon in 1998 and has served in key client facing roles within our Dallas, Texas office for 15 years. These roles included Senior Consultant and Manager of the Global Risk Solutions team as well as his current role, Relationship Executive. Paul serves as a strategic partner with important Corporate, Government and Not-for-Profit clients in Texas, understanding their needs and ensuring client satisfaction. In his role with Global Risk Solutions, he managed client relationships and directed a team to support the investment process of our institutional trust and custody clients. Paul assisted clients in the understanding and use of performance measurement, portfolio risk analytics, universe comparison, compliance monitoring and information delivery tools and services.
Paul has more than 23 years of institutional investment experience, including more than 15 with direct client relationship experience and has a detailed knowledge of performance and risk analytics consulting and BNY Mellon's suite of Workbench products. Prior to joining BNY Mellon, he was a Senior Investment Analyst at Central and South West Corporation, working on defined benefit, defined contribution and healthcare trust investment matters from 1993-98. Prior work experience also includes positions with Texas Commerce Bank which is now owned by JPMorgan Chase.
Paul holds an MBA in Investments from the University of North Texas and a BBA in Finance from Texas Christian University.
