Eric Kamback is the executive vice president and chief executive officer of BNY Mellon's Corporate Trust business. He leads business management execution and sets strategic direction for Corporate Trust. He oversees a staff of 3,500 employees, located in 61 offices and 20 countries, who service $12 trillion in total outstanding debt for clients. Corporate Trust provides administration and management services for the major categories of conventional, structured finance and specialty debt.
Prior to his current assignment, Eric headed BNY Mellon's Treasury Services business. He was responsible for all functions related to the development, execution and delivery of products and services, including global sales, client servicing, product development, marketing, and domestic operations. Under his leadership, Treasury Services executed key product and market initiatives that helped to shape BNY Mellon's approach to global markets and business opportunities. He drove substantial client expansion in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and the Americas.
Eric joined BNY Mellon in 1980, beginning his career in the Mutual Funds division. Since then, he has served in numerous capacities across a broad spectrum of management positions within the company, including with Asset Servicing, Corporate Trust and Shareowner Services, and as head of Sales.
Eric has been a frequent speaker at conferences and a featured participant at industry roundtables. He has fostered a business-wide commitment on industry leadership and participation, with key members of his staff serving on committees at The Clearing House, NACHA, SWIFT, and IFSA. Eric has served on a number of industry boards throughout his career.
