Gabby Parcella

Gabriela Franco Parcella is the Chief Executive Officer of Mellon Capital Management. She provides strategic leadership to the executive team and all areas of the company. Prior to her current role, Gabriela served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, where she managed all operations, systems, finance regulatory and administrative functions.

Gabriela has more than 17 years of financial services, operations, risk and regulatory experience. As Chief Operating Officer, Gabriela was responsible for oversight of all operations including accounting, investment operations, data management, information technology, trade operations, revenue/billing, finance, legal and compliance. She previously served in other senior roles at Mellon Capital, including Managing Director, Business Operations, Chief Compliance Officer and General Counsel. In those roles, Gabriela was a key contributor to Mellon Capital's international expansion, its growth in collective funds and the launch of its alternative investment strategies platform.

Gabriela chairs Mellon Capital's Executive Planning, Senior Management and Fiduciary committees, and is a member of Mellon Capital's Risk Management, IT Steering, Risk Management and Securities Pricing committees. She is also a member of the BNY Mellon Asset Management Executive Committee, the BNY Mellon Operating Committee and the BNY Mellon Global Diversity and Inclusion Council. Gabriela is the founder of the San Francisco chapter of the Women's Initiatives Network (WIN).

Prior to joining Mellon Capital, Gabriela was an attorney at Orrick. She holds a law degree from Stanford Law School in California and a master's degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
