George B. Gilmer

George joined heritage Mellon Financial Corporation in September of 2003. In his initial role, George worked as Chief Financial Officer for Mellon's Asset Servicing Sector. Prior to and immediately following Mellon's merger with the Bank of New York, George was chief administrative officer for Asset Servicing. In May, 2008, George again joined the finance team as CFO for the Asset Servicing business.

Prior to joining Mellon, George worked at JP Morgan Chase as CFO for the Securities Processing and Fund Servicing line of business, which had revenues in excess of $1.5 billion. Prior to his six years at JP Morgan Chase, George worked in senior finance positions in varied industries.

George received a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island and a Bachelors degree in Accounting from Westfield State College, where he is currently a member of the Board of Trustees. George enjoys sports, learning and spending time with his family.
