BNY Mellon Central Securities Depository (CSD), as a new addition to the European market infrastructure, is a natural evolution of our investment services offering. BNY Mellon CSD SA/NV harnesses our securities servicing expertise, scalable architecture, operational efficiencies and ingenuity to bring a fresh perspective to support the evolution of the European market infrastructure. Our ever-expanding suite of capabilities reaches across borders, around the globe and supports multiple currencies and securities.

BNY Mellon CSD, as an issuer CSD**, will provide streamlined new issues services and integrated settlement, safekeeping and portfolio services to the global marketplace. Its capabilities:

  • Enable issuers to access capital effectively and communicate with their securities holders
  • Deliver notary, settlement and safekeeping services for deposits of bonds and listed equities
  • Handle only dematerialised securities
