Gary Da Silva

Gary Da Silva joined BNY Mellon in 2007 as Chief Counsel for Asia-Pacific, bringing more than 20 years of experience in the legal and compliance fields. Prior to BNY Mellon, Gary worked for Credit Suisse, Hong Kong branch, where he was a Director and Head of Legal and Compliance, and Dryden Financial, an international operating unit of Prudential Financial in Hong Kong, where he was Regional Counsel, Asia-Pacific.

Gary completed his legal studies in England, where he received a master's degree in commercial law from the University of Bristol and Law Society Finals at the College of Law in Chester. He holds a current practicing certificate issued by the Law Society of Hong Kong. Gary was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in 1988 and Hong Kong in 1993.
