Vice Chairman, BNY Mellon Asset Management

Jonathan Little


Jonathan Little is the Vice Chairman of BNY Mellon Asset Management with responsibility for all of BNY Mellon Asset Management's non-U.S. Asset Management businesses, including joint ventures and subsidiary companies worldwide. BNY Mellon is the corporate brand of The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation (NYSE:BK).

As part of his role, Jon is a Director of several Asset Management firms including Newton Management Ltd, Pareto Investment Management, Walter Scott and Partners Ltd, EACM Advisors, Standish Asset Management LLP., Ivy Asset Management, Alcentra, Hamon Investment Group and is Chairman of West LB Mellon Asset Management. Jon is also a Director of BNY Mellon Asset Management International Ltd and The Dreyfus Corporation which are the two companies responsible for BNY Mellon's distribution and mutual funds internationally and in the US respectively. He was previously Chairman of both these companies.

In addition to his Asset Management role, Jon is a member BNY Mellon's Executive Committee.

Prior to joining The Mellon Financial Corporation in 2000, Jon was Head of Sales and Distribution for JP Morgan Investment Management's international fund and sub-advisory businesses outside the US. Prior to that, he was Director of Sales and Business Development for Fidelity Investments in the UK. He was educated at Oxford Brookes University. He is a member of the Advisory Council of The CFA Society of the UK and holds the Societies' IMC qualification.
