Carl Krasik
General Counsel

Carl Krasik is general counsel for BNY Mellon.
He is a member of the company's Executive Committee, the organization's most senior management body, which oversees day-to-day operations.
Prior to the merger of The Bank of New York Company, Inc. and Mellon Financial Corporation in July 2007, Mr. Krasik was general counsel and secretary and head of legal affairs for Mellon.
He joined Mellon in 1995, after 25 years with the law firm of Reed Smith, where he served on its management and executive committees.
Mr. Krasik is a graduate of Harvard Law School and holds a bachelor's degree in history from Yale University.
